Boxfan has been at the torch for nearly 30 years. He was one of the original 24 Snodgrass apprentices. He founded The Flow, a journal for glassblowers, in 2002. And he invented the Helix and its patented air-cooled technology.
Our everyday Classics are made to Boxfan’s design. Builder pieces are made by Boxfan, one-of-a-kind, and carry his fired-on Boxfan decal.
What you choose in the Custom Helix Builder
- Size — Micro 4.5″, Mini 5.5″ or OG 6.5″
- Decal color — black, orange, green, blue or white
- .999 silver fume — real silver that slowly develops color over time
- Colored dots
- Marble — Gilson opal, dichroic galaxy or Helix logo dichroic. Add a second if you like.
